Dr. Dapeng Liu is a lecturer at the School of Information Systems and Technology Management at the University of New South Wales Sydney. Dapeng received his Ph.D. degree at Virginia Commonwealth University, recognized as Dean's Scholar 2019. His research interests include business intelligence, knowledge engineering, data interoperability, and information security and privacy. He has published in several top-tier Information Systems journals including the Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, European Journal of Information Systems, and AIS Transaction on HCI. His research has been supported by the Microsoft Azure Research Award. Dr. Dapeng Liu has rich lecturing experience in database design and management, cybersecurity, data analytics, and text mining. He is a certified Python Programming Associate, IBM Data Science Professional, and Google Cloud Security Professional.
