I am currently a Professor of Operations Management at the UNSW Business School, University of New South Wales in Australia. I have taught operations management and supply chain management in various programs including MBA and EMBA. Prior to joining UNSW, I was on the faculty of the University of Maryland and the University of Missouri-Rolla in the US. I received my Ph.D. degree from the University of California-Berkeley and a M.S. from UC Davis. I have edited or co-edited several special issues of peer-reviewed journals. My published work has appeared in Operations Research, Manufacturing & Service and Operations Management, The Energy Journal, Energy Economics, European Journal of Operational Research, and other journals. I am a member of INFORMS and ASCE, and a senior member of IEEE. I am a past President of the Section on Energy, Natural Resources, and the Environment of the INFORMS. I am currently the Editor-in-Chief of the ASCE Journal of Energy Engineering, and have served on the Editorial Board of the ASCE Journal of Infrastructure Systems, IET Energy Conversion and Economics, and the International Journal of Business Analytics. My research interests include operations management, sustainability, financial engineering, and project management.
